106-1 FLIP FM is an American radio station licensed by the Federal Communications Commission in Washington, DC to serve the community of Floydada, Texas. The station signed on the air on April 1, 1985 – no kidding – and continues to broadcast from it’s studios in downtown Floydada.
The station is authorized to transmit and 25,000 watts at 225 feet. If you are still reading this then we’re sorry to tell you we’re bored with ourselves so blah, blah, blahl blah – and so on.
If there is only a couple of things we can say about ourselves it’s that we’re different than most any other station you’ve ever listened to. We play Texas Country all day and all night – sorry if you were looking for some dumb Lubbock station that will only play Texas Country one night a week or for a couple of hours on the weekend. We love Texas Country and the artists that play and perform it.
