In the Texas Music Scene, Number one’s are often associated with names like Randy Rogers, Wade Bowen and Roger Creager. As a matter of fact only once has a female ever reached number one since the inception of the Texas Music Chart. Are those odd’s too much? Las Cruces NM, native 
and Texas Musician Bri Bagwell doens’t seem to think so. “Whiskey” is the title of her latest offering, a simple song about a girl who longs to be the “Whiskey” in her man’s life.
I first met Bri nearly a year ago during her first radio tour promoting her then single ” Banned From Santa Fe”, which quickly became one of the most requested songs we’ve ever played. Now, with a much more refined ability on the guitar, Bagwell raises the bar for any female interested in giving her hand at music in the Lone Star State.
