Floydada Whirlwinds falls to Bushland Falcons 8-5 in spite of Renfro’s performance

Tyler Renfro did all he could to give Floydada Whirlwinds a boost, but it wasn’t enough to get past Bushland Falcons, as Floydada Whirlwinds lost 8-5 in seven innings at West Texas A&M University on Saturday.

Renfro did his best to jumpstart the offense for Floydada Whirlwinds, reaching base two times. He tripled in the fourth inning.

Blane Barnett got the win for Bushland Falcons despite allowing five runs over seven innings. He struck out five, walked one and surrendered eight hits.

Bushland Falcons’ Geoffrey Weiss, Dregan Patterson and Barnett combined for four hits and four RBIs.

Whirlwinds’ late runs seal 9-3 blowout over the Forsan Buffaloes

On a weather wrecked weekend, Floydada defeated Forsan 9 – 3 for the Area Championship and an invitation to the Regional Quarterfinals for the first time in program history.

“I thought it played into our hands to play one game instead of three because I told kids we had to just go out there and play ball,” Seago said. “Right before we went out today, we talked about going to Austin (for the state tournament). In Austin you only get one game to win it, so it was good experience for us. I have to take my hat off to these kids. They made some great plays all over the field today.”A four-run seventh inning sealed a 9-3 win for Floydada over Forsan Buffaloes on Saturday at Lubbock Christian High School.

Xavier Cervera racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Whirlwinds. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth and seventh innings.

Jose Martinez worked out of 17 tough spots for Floydada Whirlwinds. He pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs on eight hits.

The seventh inning proved too much for Forsan when Jon Paul Chavarria hit an RBI single and Galvan stole home. Xavier Cervera stamped the history books with a two run single in the top of the seventh to give the Whirlwinds a six run differential going into the bottom of the seventh.

Martinez allows two hits in the bottom of the seventh, before the defense stepped in and Tyler Renfro would catch the game winning fly out in left field.

“Going into the sixth, things just started rolling for us” Seago said. “We started putting the pressure on them and were able to score two in the sixth and four in the seventh. We just played the game right.”

Floydada will play Bushland in a best of three series beginning this Friday on the campus of West Texas A&M University in Canyon. Game one will be Friday night at 7:30 pm amd game two begins on Saturday at 1:00pm.

Shooter Jennings – Long Road Ahead

I spent some time up stairs here at the station this afternoon and ran across box after box of vinyl records. Everything from Michael Jackson’s Thriller album to Neil Diamond, Seals & Crofts, and even Chicago. Just seeing the history reminded me of how music influenced my life from a very early age. Listening to that same thriller album on a PlaySkool tape player equipped with only play, stop, and forward….(evidently “reverse” was an option, much like power windows) for hours on end swinging on a rickety metal swing set in my backyard.

On occasion a certain artist or group will come through the studios, that if just for a moment, takes me back to that time in life. When bills didn’t exist and my only worry was school and what time it would be over. Shooter Jennings recently stopped in studios and for about 20 minutes, took me back to that time.

Practiacally born on his father’s tour bus, Jennings’ musical career began at an early age of 5 playing drums and them piano at age 8 and by 14 was backing his father. As an adult, Jennings left Nashville, Tennessee to seek his fortunes in Los Angeles. He assembled and performed with Stargunn, a southern rock band who, through three distinct phases, sounded like a hybrid of Lynyrd Skynyrd, David Bowie, Guns n’ Roses and The Screamin’ Cheetah Wheelies. Stargunn performed at local clubs for six years, built an avid following, and earned praise from the local music press.

Jennings portrayed his father in the Johnny Cash biopic Walk the Line. He is the host of Shooter Jennings’ Electric Rodeo, a two-hour weekly music show on Sirius Satellite Radio‘s Outlaw Country channel. His second solo album Electric Rodeo was released on April 4, 2006, followed by The Wolf on October 23, 2007. This album was followed in 2009 by his first compilation album, Bad Magick: The Best of Shooter Jennings and the .357′s.

In 2011, following a move to New York, Shooter, with childhood friend and master pianist Erik Deutsch, formed “The Triple Crown”, a new backing band for his forthcoming country album. The album Family Man, his first self-produced outing, was released March 13, 2012.

Cervera helps Floydada Whirlwinds down the Tulia Hornets 12-7 to clinch the Bi-District Championship

The Floydada Whirlwinds beat the Tulia Hornets 12-7 in seven innings on Saturday at Bulldog park behind Xavier Cervera, who drove in three runs.

He singled in the second inning and doubled in the seventh inning.

Matthew McGowen got the win for Floydada Whirlwinds. He allowed three runs over two innings. McGowen struck out two, walked four and gave up four hits.

Floydada is scheduled to play Forsan in the Area round of the playoff’s at Lubbock Christian High School.

Game 1: Lubbock Christian High School at 7:00 p.m. May 11th (Forsan home team)

Game 2: Lubbock Christian High School at 1:00 p.m. May 12th (Floydada home team)

Game 3: if necessary, Lubbock Christian High School, 30 minutes after, will flip for home and sticks

Home team will use 1st base dugout.

$3 for students and $5 for adults
All District Passes will be accepted.

Seventh-inning lead change vaults Tulia Hornets past Floydada Whirlwinds, 6-5

A tight game was decided in the seventh inning as The Floydada Whirlwinds fell to the Tulia Hornets 6-5 in seven innings on Saturday at Wayland Baptist university.

Danny Martinez racked up two RBIs on three hits for Floydada Whirlwinds. He singled in the third and fifth innings and doubled in the sixth inning.

The Tulia Hornets jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the third. A double by Jair Macias, scoring Noe Rodriquez started the inning off.

The Tulia Hornets never trailed after scoring five runs in the seventh on a grand slam home run by Jair Macias and an RBI single by Ross Keeter.

Martinez hits and pitches the Floydada Whirlwinds to 8-4 victory in game one of Bi-District series at Wilder Field

Jose Martinez was strong at the plate and on the rubber carrying the Floydada Whirlwinds to a 8-4 victory over the Tulia Hornets on Friday in game one of a three game series at Wayland Baptist University in Plainview.

Martinez racked up four RBIs on four hits for the Floydada Whirlwinds. He singled in the first, third, fifth, and sixth innings.

Martinez kept contact to a minimum, striking out six of the Tulia Hornets batters. Martinez allowed three earned runs, three hits and three walks over seven innings.

The lead stayed with the Floydada Whirlwinds after the fifth, when they scored four runs on two singles and a steal of home by Martinez.

Three runs in the bottom of the seventh helped the Tulia Hornets close their deficit to 8-4. An RBI single by Jeremy Bullock, a passed ball, and an RBI single by Joe Aguayo gave the Tulia Hornets life. Finally, Martinez got Ross Keeter to strike out to end the game.

Floydada plays game two of the series at Wayland Baptist University on Saturday, May the 5th at 10:30 am at Wilder Field in Plainview.

Hot bats not enough, Floydada Whirlwinds succumb to Tahoka Bulldogs, 12-11

Floydada Whirlwinds fell 12-11 to the Tahoka Bulldogs in seven innings on Sunday at Littlefield despite racking up nine hits and 11 runs.

Seth Nielson racked up three RBIs on two hits for Floydada Whirlwinds. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fifth inning.

The Tahoka Bulldogs were sparked by Zach Garcia and Dominique Herrera, who teamed up for five hits and four RBIs.

Four relief pitchers didn’t loosen their grasp on the win as they finished off the game for the Tahoka Bulldogs. Swade Hammonds faced six batters in relief, while Ethan Curry managed to record four outs to aid the victory.

Floydada Whirlwinds jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the bottom of the second. Hunter Galvan kicked things off for Floydada Whirlwinds with a single. Then a walk by Nielson scored Anthony Garza. Floydada Whirlwinds then tacked on more runs when Renfro scored on an error.

The Tahoka Bulldogs went up for good in the third, scoring nine runs on a two-run double by Herrera, a groundout by Hammonds, two singles, an RBI triple by Garcia, a walk by Trysten Hilger, and a wild pitch.

The Tahoka Bulldogs built upon their lead with two runs in the fourth. A sacrifice fly scored Herrera to get the Tahoka Bulldogs on the board in the inning. That was followed up by Christian Ramirez’s single, bringing home Caelen Decker.

One run in the bottom of the fourth helped Floydada Whirlwinds close its deficit to 11-6. An error triggered Floydada Whirlwinds’ comeback. Finally, Hammonds got Garza to ground out to end the threat.

After pushing across four runs in the bottom of the fifth, Floydada Whirlwinds faced just a 12-10 deficit. An RBI double by Jon Paul Chavarria, , an error, and an error set off a Floydada Whirlwinds rally. John Ray Barrientez ended the inning by getting Jose Martinez to fly out.

One run in the bottom of the seventh helped Floydada Whirlwinds close its deficit to 12-11. An RBI single by Xavier Cervera fueled Floydada Whirlwinds’ comeback. Herrera ended the game by getting Martinez to ground out.

For the Wildcats, Ryan Rogers got it done on the hill on the way to a win. He allowed two runs over seven innings. The Littlefield Wildcats pitcher struck out five, walked one and surrendered nine hits.

The Littlefield Wildcats were sparked by Tracey Huseman and Zach Johnson, who teamed up for eight hits and three RBIs.

The Wildcats jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first. Johnson got things going for Littlefield with a single. Then a bases loaded walk scored Dale Jones.

The Wildcats didn’t relinquish the lead after scoring three runs in the fourth inning when they scored on a fielder’s choice and a two-run single by Huseman.

The Littlefield Wildcats tacked on another two runs in the fifth. The inning looked promising, as Nathan Castillo singled, plating Johnson to kick things off. That was followed up by an error that scored Rogers.

One run in the top of the seventh helped Floydada Whirlwinds close its deficit to 6-2. A sacrifice fly by Jon Paul Chavarria set off a Floydada Whirlwinds rally. But, Rogers got Mike Cisneros to strike out to end the game.

Floydada Whirlwinds offense too much for Friona Chieftains in 9-0 rout

Floydada Whirlwinds shut the door early on Friona Chieftains, capturing a 9-0 victory on Saturday at Floydada.

Five runs in the first three innings allowed Floydada to put the game away early.

An RBI single by Jose Martinez, a sacrifice fly by Hunter Galvan, a groundout by Tyler Renfro, and an RBI single by Anthony Garza in the first inning and an error during the second inning helped the Floydada Whirlwinds put some runs on the board early.

Floydada‘s Ben Perez was perfect at the dish, going 3-3. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the fourth and fifth innings.

Seth Nielson held the Chieftains scoreless for six innings. Nielson allowed two hits, no walks and struck out five.

Floydada Whirlwinds piled on three more runs in the bottom of the fourth. Martinez kicked things off with a single, plating Tucker Lowrance. That was followed up by a passed ball that scored Xavier Cervera.

Cervera’s triple propels Floydada past the Idalou Wildcats, 7-3

Six first-inning runs helped the Floydada Whirlwinds to a 7-3 win over the Idalou Wildcats at The Watson in Floydada on Saturday.

Xavier Cervera racked up two RBIs on three hits for Floydada Whirlwinds. He tripled in the first inning and singled in the third and fifth innings.

Floydada got the win thanks in large part to Jose Martinez‘s dominant, 14-strikeout performance. Martinez allowed two earned runs, eight hits and six walks over seven innings.

Two runs in the top of the third helped the Idalou Wildcats close their deficit to 6-2. A two-run home run by Kleat Smith sparked the Idalou Wildcats’ rally. Floydada Whirlwinds stopped the rally after Martinez got Alex Tarin to fly out.

One run in the top of the sixth helped the Idalou Wildcats close their deficit to 7-3 and gave the Wildcats life. The Wildcats threat came to an end when Martinez finally got Josh Caffey to fly out.

Martinez leads Floydada Whirlwinds to 13-3 victory

The Floydada Whirlwinds beat the Muleshoe Mules 13-3 Tuesday behind both the bat and the arm of Jose Martinez.

Martinez got a hit in each of his four at bats. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the second, fourth, and fifth innings.

Muleshoe couldn’t get anything going as long as Martinez was dealing from the hill. Martinez held the Mules hitless over one-third of an inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out none.

Floydada blew out Muleshoe thanks to 21 hits, including three extra base hits and scored four runs in the sixth on an RBI single by Anthony Garza, an RBI single by Mike Cisneros, an error, and a hit by pitch.

The game’s last lead went to Floydada Whirlwinds thanks to a first inning rally that saw three runs cross the plate on two singles and a steal of home by Martinez.

Floydada matched its three-run second inning with three more in the fifth. In the second, Floydada scored on an RBI single by Martinez, bringing home Danny Martinez.

A single by Ben Perez ignited the offense, scoring Cisneros. That was followed up by Xavier Cervera‘s single, scoring Martinez and Perez.

Despite hit advantage, Floydada Whirlwinds drop 7-2 game to the Abernathy Antelopes

Floydada Whirlwinds lost 7-2 in seven innings at Abernathy on Saturday, despite outhitting the Abernathy Antelopes seven to six.

Isaac Pierson recorded the win for Abernathy Antelopes. He allowed two runs over seven innings. The Abernathy Antelopes pitcher struck out eight, walked one and surrendered seven hits.

Hunter Galvan was shaky from the start, lasting only two-thirds of an inning on the mound for Floydada before the call to the bullpen. Galvan allowed two hits and three runs.

Abernathy Antelopes went up for good in the first, scoring three runs on a sacrifice fly by Pierson, an RBI single by Bryce Chapa, and a bases loaded walk by Galvan.

Abernathy Antelopes built upon its lead with three runs in the fifth. A clutch ground out scored Ty Wise and Pierson to open the scoring in the frame. That was followed up by Jacob Alvarado’s single, scoring Tillman Ellsworth.

A one-run sixth inning helped bring the Whirlwinds within six. An RBI double by Galvan triggered a short Whirlwinds‘ comeback. Finally, Pierson induced an inning-ending fly out from Jon Paul Chavarria.

One run in the top of the seventh helped Floydada close its deficit to 7-2. An RBI single by Tyler Renfro set off a Floydada Whirlwinds rally. But, Pierson got Jose Martinez to strike out to end the game.

Jose Martinez powered Floydada Whirlwinds at the plate and on the rubber Wednesday, willing the Whirlwinds to a 14-2 victory over Dimmitt Bobcats.

Jose Martinez racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Floydada Whirlwinds, doubling in the first inning and then singled in the second and fourth innings.

Jose Martinez handled Dimmitt Bobcats’ lineup with ease, racking up seven strikeouts. Floydada Whirlwinds‘ pitcher allowed one earned run on six hits and three walks over five innings.

Seven runs in the opening three innings allowed Floydada Whirlwinds to easily put away Dimmitt Bobcats. A two-run double by Jose Martinez, , and an RBI single by Hunter Galvan in the first inning and an RBI double by Danny Martinez and an RBI single by Jose Martinez in the second inning supplied the early offense for Floydada Whirlwinds.

Ian Rivera boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate, to pace Dimmitt Bobcats. Rivera singled in the first, third, and fifth innings.

Floydada Whirlwinds ran wild on the base paths, finishing with six steals. Jose Martinez, Tyler Renfro, Danny Martinez, and Hunter Galvan each had one stolen base and Mike Cisneros had two stolen bases.

Friday, April the 6th at 12:00pm the Whirlwinds will travel to Abernathy to determine the number one position in District 2-2A.

Hunter Galvan had a good game at the plate to help Floydada Whirlwinds to a 5-4 victory in seven innings over the Littlefield Wildcats on Saturday at Floydada.

The Littlefield Wildcats jumped out to an early 4-0 lead in the top of the first. Dale Jones started the rally for the Littlefield Wildcats with a single. Johnson singled, bringing home Tracey Huseman. More runs came home for the Littlefield Wildcats when Jones scored, Johnson scored, and Rogers scored.

Zach Johnson racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Littlefield Wildcats. Johnson singled in the first and third innings.

Galvan was steady at the plate for the Whirlwinds. Galvan went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. Galvan singled in the second and third innings.

Seth Nielson handled the Littlefield Wildcats’ lineup with ease, racking up seven strikeouts. Floydada Whirlwinds‘ pitcher allowed no earned runs, five hits and one walk over seven innings.

With a tie ballgame in the bottom of the seventh and two outs, Nielson facing the 3 and 1 pitch flied deep into center field scoring the game winning run with a walk-off triple.

The Floydada Whirlwinds jumped out to an early lead on Friona Chieftains and captured a 13-0 victory on Wednesday at Friona.

Eight runs in the first three innings allowed the Whirlwinds to put the game away early.

A couple of fielder’s choice situations in the first inning and an RBI double by Xavier Cervera and an RBI single by Danny Martinez in the second inning helped Floydada Whirlwinds put some runs on the board early.

Ben Perez racked up three RBIs on four hits for Floydada. Perez doubled in the third inning and singled in the second, fourth, and fifth innings.

Hunter Galvan was in control on the mound all afternoon. The Chieftains managed just one hit off of the Floydada Whirlwinds‘ pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out seven during his five innings of work.

Floydada Whirlwinds piled up the steals, swiping eight bags in all. Anthony Garza and Seth Nielson each had one stolen base and Martinez, Jose Martinez, and Mike Cisneros each had two stolen bases.

Abernathy beats Floydada Lady Winds 15-11 thanks to big comeback

Floydada Lady Winds looked to be in control, up by 11 runs in the second inning, but Abernathy came back to grab a 15-11 win on Saturday in Abernathy.

Floydada Lady Winds were paced by the production of Lindsey Deleon, who reached base four times. Deleon doubled in the second inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Abernathy was in a difficult situation down by 11 in the second inning before it recovered for the win.

Both squads had things going at the plate, tallying 26 runs and 21 hits, including seven extra base hits.

Amber Flores racked up four RBIs on three hits for Abernathy. Flores tripled in the second and fourth innings and singled in the fifth inning.

Abernathy hammered Floydada Lady Winds pitching as 11 hitters had a field day, combining for 19 hits, 14 RBIs and 15 runs scored.

Floydada Lady Winds piled up the steals, swiping 10 bags in all. Anna Delafuente, Amelia Gonzales, Ana Mora, Bethany Morales, Kelsey Nutt, andBraxton Turner each had one stolen base and Deleon and Stephanie Lermaeach had two stolen bases.

Floydada Lady Winds jumped out to an early 4-0 lead in the top of the first. A single by Mora, bringing home Morales started the inning off. Floydada Lady Winds pushed more runs across when Deleon scored on a passed ball,Mora scored on a groundout by Nutt, and Lerma scored on a walk byGonzales.

Floydada Whirlwinds drops tough one to Idalou Wildcats, 3-2

A ninth-inning Idalou double spelled defeat for Floydada Whirlwinds, falling 3-2 in walk-off fashion at Floydada on Wednesday.

With the score tied at two in the ninth inning, Josh Caffey came to the plate and doubled, bringing home Nathan Bell.

It was a good day at the plate for Floydada Whirlwinds’ Xavier Cervera. Cervera went 2-5, drove in one and scored one run. Cervera singled in the first and fifth innings.

Jose Martinez was a workhorse on the mound for Floydada Whirlwinds. Martinez allowed only two earned runs, seven hits and four walks while striking out five.

Derek Spargo baffled Floydada Whirlwinds, striking out six batters. The Idalou Wildcats’ pitcher allowed two earned runs, eight hits and one walk over seven innings.

Neither team scored until the fourth when the Idalou Wildcats got on the board. The Idalou Wildcats pushed their runs across on and an RBI single by Spargo.

March 20, 2012 (Austin, TX) – Granger Smith has his boots laced up tight and ready to go—do you? Smith is teaming up with the Boot Campaign for the Second Annual 100-mile Walk, which kicks off in South Austin on Sunday, April 15. Smith is showing his support and gratitude for our military men and women by walking 100 miles in combat boots from South Austin to the Ft. Hood military post in Killeen, and he urges fans to join him in his efforts.

Fans interested in participating should be regularly checking Granger’s Facebook page and GrangerSmith.com to find the exact locations to meet Granger each day to continue the Walk. Fans who choose to walk with Granger will need to arrange either a ride back to their starting point or a ride waiting to pick them up at the end of their journey that day. An on-site, branded Boot Campaign trailer will be selling combat boots at each location. Proceeds from boot sales directly benefit our military men and women.

On the last day of the Walk, fans can meet Granger on the east side of the Killeen Shopping Center at 12:00pm CT to join the few miles to the finish line. The Walk officially ends at 5:00 pm CT on Thursday, April 19 in Fort Hood at the Phantom Warrior Center. Fans planning on walking this portion will need to make sure to have their ID on hand, as they will be

entering the army base. Granger will then play an acoustic concert on site to celebrate the end of his incredible journey.

Gas prices are on the rise, more folks are taking “Staycations” and fewer are taking “Vacations”, and 70 mile per hour winds in February… just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse… I find this! “The Stache Act (Stimulus to Allow for Critical Hair Expenses) aims to earn a well-deserved $250 annual tax deduction for every Mustached American for expenditures on mustache grooming supplies.” Well who couldn’t use an extra $250 bucks for some sort of salve/lotion or whatever it is that is used to properly maintain a mustache. “Given the clear link between the growing and maintenance of mustaches and incremental income … mustache maintenance costs qualify for and should be considered as a deductible expense …,” Dr. Yeutter wrote.

I have nothing left for the above paragraph….

Well considering today’s video comes from an artist who bares a modest goatee maybe he’ll become the first person I personally know who receives this incredibly awesome tax cut. Trent Langford (lead man for No Dry County) stopped by recently and performed “Roses”, which may or may not be released on the next album so soak it up right here. And go grow a mustache!

Known to some as the “Mustache Man”, Grady Spencer could be the Hub City’s best kept secret. Spencer’s music is not from the same loin as most on the Texas Music Scene. It’s the smell of mountain air in the midst of a dust storm. Grady Spencer and the Griswulds are a little bit Jack Johnson, Van Morrison, Joe Purdy, and Ray LaMontagne with simple effective lyrics about the things that we too often take for granted.

“I rarely listen to a lot of what people call Texas Music.” Says Spencer “With the exception of a few, Brandon Adams is one and I listen to Adam Hood a lot. I think the album that he just released is amazing.” Inspired by jazz and blues and bands like The Black Keys, Spencer remains true to an art form dominated by computers and audio manipulation. “When we go into the studio to record, we try to do things as live as possible.”

No place is this more evident than in his current portfolio. From solo album entitled “The Seminole Optimists Club” to his current offering, “Sunday’s Ships” which was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Alan Crossland at Route 1 Studios in Acuff, Texas.

If you find yourself in the “Hub” on a Friday or Saturday night and you spend enough time in the Depot District, you might just be lucky enough to find Grady and the Griswulds hanging out, “doing what they do”. Celebrate Texas Independence Day with THE Texas Outlaws & Legends of Texas Country Music!

Outlaws & Legends is back for 2012 and promises to be even better than last year. The 2nd Annual Outlaws and Legends Music Fest will be held at The Abilene Speedway (6825 W Hwy 80, Abilene TX, 79605) at the Big Country Chevy Dealers Stage and kicked off with more than 10 artists performing an unplugged acoustic song-swap show on Friday, March 2, 2012 for a Texas Independence Day showcase, followed by “The Biggest 1-Day, 1-Day Event in Texas” on March 3, 2012. Gates open at 5:00p.m. on Friday, March 2, 2012 and will close Sunday, March 4, 2012 at 12:00 noon. There will be up to 24 vendors on-site, 58 Tailgate Spots and 325 RV Spots available on a first-come, first-serve basis. VIP/Backstage Passes will also be available for purchase (limit 100).

Floydada Junior Basketball Sign-Up Information

It’s time to hit the hardwood once again. The Floydada Junior Basketball Association has released it’s sign-up forms for 2012. This year’s sign-up’s will be held on Friday, January 20th from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Floydada Junior High Gym. This year’s tryouts will be held on Saturday January 21st at 9:00 am at the Floydada Junior High Gym. Registration Fee is $40 per child and the Application (download here) and the payment are both due by JANUARY 20TH

No late applications will be allowed

Yes that is the name of the actual tour that is currently being created by an all female line up including Pauline Reese, Kylie Ray Harris, The Rankin Twins and Bri Bagwell, and Kimberly Kelly. (and evidently our friend Will Green makes random cameo’s as the baby)

They have evidently designated each other with nick-names like…
